Preschool Graduation

Lola had a preschool graduation last Friday night. To celebrate, Lola chose to take the family to "Lola Garden", or Olive Garden, as other families call it.
Lola brought Mrs. Heather some flowers with a card that said "Thanks for helping me BLOOM this year!" Lola was pretty excited to give them to her teacher!

Mrs. Heather was a perfect teacher for Lola this year. She is so positive, and happy, and also very structured, giving Lola a perfect environment for learning. Lola worked hard this year to prepare for kindergarten, and can hardly wait until school begins in the fall. Mrs. Heather gave Lola the "lovey-dovey" award. She explained that every day, during free time, Lola would head to the playhouse, where she would choose one of the boys in the class to be her husband. Mrs. Heather would often hear the boy shouting "Stop kissing me!" and knew that Lola was just having fun with her play husband! Needless to say, we've had many discussions this year regarding appropriate ways to show affection to our friends! :-)

Lola attended preschool this year with one of her best friends, Myles. Every day they carpooled together, practiced their jokes on eachother, told their moms about their day, and decided they would get married when the time is right! Lola came in the door one day after school and said, "Mom! Good news! Myles said he wants to marry me again!" We'll see if the height difference is an issue when they're 25....

Graduation Cupcakes

These turned out so cute, they deserve a post all their own! I got this idea from a picture on the web. They were a perfect treat to take to Lola's preschool graduation, and super easy to make.

Jog-a-thon

Livi had a blast at the school jog-a-thon this year. She has such a great school, with so many involved parents. And she has a great group of friends. This is one lucky girl!

Soccer Girl

Olivia played soccer again this spring with the team she has played with for the last 4 seasons....Wow! They are all such cute girls, who have learned so much. The last few games, all of the parents looked at eachother and couldn't believe it felt like we were actually watching a real soccer game. There was even a little strategy involved! Livi had a great time playing with the girls again this season, and really learned alot about the game this spring as well. She's looking forward to the fall!

Tea for Two

Lola's preschool hosted a Mother's Tea on Mother's Day Weekend. Lola was the perfect hostess. She poured the "tea":
She served the tea:

She served delicious treats:

She performed with her classmates for all the mothers:

And she made me feel so welcome in her cute preschool class.

Such a cutie! Our little girl is growing up!
