First Day of School

Livi and Lola were so excited for school to start this year. We had a great summer, but were all ready for school to get underway! :-) Livi started third grade this year, and is really enjoying every minute. She's especially enjoying her social studies and science classes, as well as reading. Lola started kindergarten and couldn't be happier about it. Rich and I were kind of anxious to see how everything went for our sweet Lola, thinking mostly about the academic side of things. We WAY underestimated the social scene for Lola, which she just loves. She decided to ride the bus to school every day, even though it's a 30 minute ride to school. We finally figured out that she must enjoy the "captive audience" she has on her row for the ride to school! She also rides the bus home after school, with all of her kindergarten friends. She is one happy camper!
