Trenton turns Two!

It's hard to believe that two years have gone by since Trenton joined our family. He brought pure joy and happiness to us by just being the little man he is. He has also opened our eyes to the world of little boys...my goodness! They are VERY different from little girls! Our wood floor has huge divots from trucks being rolled off the table, our walls need re-painted (and even filled in spots!), our carpet needs replaced, and he still just manages to melt our hearts! We love this little guy!
I was pretty sick on Trenton's birthday, so Rich had to take over all the party duties. He made Trenton a "cheese pie", and took all the children to the store to find some presents for the party. Of course, Trenton zeroed in on the goldfish near the toy section, and Rich couldn't resist. Being the non-animal family that we are, I was shocked to see Rich come home with a fish bowl, rocks, fish food, and TWO goldfish!! Trenton was beyond excited, and immediately named them "Mung Muh" (that's the sound a fish makes) and "Dat" as in "that". Very original. Mung Muh lived a short life, but Dat is still going strong three months later. Rich, true to his word, has been the sole provider for this fish, cleaning the bowl and feeding it twice a day. Trenton still greets the fish every morning.

Keeping a fish alive for three months is amazing! Congrats!
